A designer who is taking the design world by storm: Behind the label HAUSEN is Jörg Höltje, who founded his studio in Berlin while still a student at the University of the Arts. Before graduating in 2009, he had already gained relevant experience with interior greats such as Patricia Urquiola in Milan and Werner Aisslinger in Berlin. In addition, he taught at the University of the Arts in Berlin and was a visiting professor at the University Burg Giebichenstein in Halle. Since the beginning of his career, exhibitions from Milan, London, Hong Kong to New York have shown that his work has been very well received. Thus, well-known labels such as Ligne Roset, Alcantara & Camper are among his customers, who appreciate his straightforward and timeless design. In 2014, and thus in a time marked by a crisis of established furniture companies, he founded his own label HAUSEN, with which he was able to quickly establish himself thanks to timeless and innovative designs. The high-quality and sustainably produced products enjoy growing popularity among an international customer base.
